Always FREE Diagnosis and Troubleshooting — Never a charge to determine what is wrong or what is needed to get your equipment running at peak performance when diagnosed Remotely.  

If your problems cannot be diagnosed remotely (no Internet connection) and an On-site diagnosis is needed, there may be a small Trip Fee charge if you are out of our Service Area.  (Please see "On-Site Services" and  "Out of Service Area Trip Fees" in this "Terms of Use" for complete details on these services and their costs.)



Business Hours — Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM., PST.  Closed Weekends, Federal Holidays, Anniversaries, and Birthdays...  :-)



Discounts — We offer Senior Citizens age 60 and over, and all Wimer/Rogue River residents a 10% discount on all Labor services, On-site and In-Shop. Discounts cannot be combined.



Emergency Services for Commercial Clients: "Same-day Commercial Client Emergency Remote Online Services"  and "Same-day Commercial Client On-site Emergency Services" — "Same-day Commercial Client Emergency Remote Online Services" and "Same-day Commercial Client On-site Emergency Services" are available before, during, and after normal Business Hours, Weekends, and Federal Holidays at a service charge of $100.00. This service charge is in addition to hourly labor repair charges, trip fees*, and the cost of parts, if applicable.  Please note that On-site diagnosis may incur an *"Out of Service Area Trip Fee".  (Please see "On-Site Services" and "Out of Service Area Trip Fees" in this "Terms of Use" for complete details on these services and their costs.) 



Hardware Drop Off/PIck Up in Rogue River—
Hardware repairs and upgrades can be dropped off in downtown Rogue River Monday through Friday.

Please use the "Contact Us" tab on the left of the screen to schedule your Drop-Off in Rogue River.  Be sure to choose "In-Shop Hardware Services" when selecting Type of Service.



Hardware Pick Up & Delivery Service outside Rogue River and Wimer, Oregon— We offer Pick Up and Delivery throughout the Rogue Valley to physical addresses which are outside of the boundaries of the City of Rogue River and Wimer, Oregon.   Each roundtrip incurs a pick up and delivery charge or "Out of Service Area Trip Fee", as described in our "Terms of Use" on this website.

Depending on circumstances, a third-party delivery service may be utilized in reaching an outlying addresses.  Please see "Out of Service Area Trip Fees" in this "Terms of Use" for complete details and list of charges.

Please use the "Contact Us" tab on the left of the screen to schedule your Pick-Up in the Rogue Valley.  Be sure to choose "In-Shop Hardware Services" when selecting Type of Service, be sure to include your physical address.


Legal Owner’s Consent to Secure Remote Online and On-Site Computer Device Diagnosis and Troubleshooting — By scheduling a Secure Remote Online Service Appointment with Happy-Computing.Net online computer services at www.happy-computing.net/schedul.html, it is understood that the Legal Owner has given their authorization to Happy-Computing.Net and their Service Technician to perform a Computer Device Diagnostic Evaluation and any necessary troubleshooting measures on the computer device indicated by Legal Owner when scheduling their Secure Remote Online Computer Device Diagnosis and Troubleshooting session appointment.

Legal Owner agrees that this Diagnosis is for the purpose of determining the cause of computer device malfunction and performance concerns, and to establish the necessary steps needed to repair and/or service specified computer device. In no case will repairs and/or service be begun without prior authorization from Owner or Owner’s Agent, which is agreed to at the time of appointment scheduling through the www.happy-computing.net website.



Legal Owner’s Responsibility prior to Secure Remote Online and On-Site Computer Device Diagnosis and/or Computer Services — Legal Owner understands and agrees that it is their responsibility to back-up their data prior to the Happy-Computing.Net Technician performing a Diagnostic Analysis and/or Computer Services on their computer device. This means all data, software, music, photos, "information" or any other files stored on their computer's hard disk drive(s), and/or on any other storage devices they may have.

Legal Owner also acknowledges and agrees that Happy-Computing.Net shall not be responsible under any circumstance at any time during either the Diagnostic and Troubleshooting session and/or Computer Services session for any loss, alteration, or corruption of any data, files, "information", and/or software stored on their computer's hard disk drive(s) and/or on any other storage devices they may have.




Legal Right to Access & Install Device Software — If any aspect of the Secure Remote Online Computer Service being performed by a Happy-Computing.Net Service Technician involves accessing or transferring data, software, music, "information" or any other files stored on the hard disk drive(s) and/or on any other storage devices of the computer device identified, Legal Owner/Agent represents that they themselves have the legal right to access, copy, and/or use any such data and to permit Happy-Computing.Net and its Technicians to do so on their behalf, and authorize such use by the Happy-Computing.Net Service Technician conducting the Secure Remote Online Service session.

Legal Owner/Agent also agrees that if any Secure Remote Online Computer Service appointment involves installing software on the hard disk drive(s) and/or on any other storage device of the computer device being serviced during a scheduled Secure Remote Online Computer Service appointment, they have the legal right to agree to the terms of any applicable software license and authorize the Happy-Computing.Net Service Technician to accept such terms on their behalf in performance of these Secure Remote Online Computer services.




Limitations to Secure Remote Online and On-Site Computer Support Services — The www.happy-computing.net Service Technician reserves the right to refrain from providing any or all computer services on the basis that the minimum system requirements (Windows © 98 and/or Apple © Macintosh © Power PC © ) are not met, or software, passwords, key codes, or other necessary information and/or equipment is not available at the time of the scheduled service, or, other requirements of the customer are unusual, or extensive, and beyond the scope of the originally scheduled Secure Remote Online Computer Support Session, as reasonably determined by the Happy-Computing.Net Service Technician.




Limitation Of And Release Of Liability — By agreeing to the HAPPY-COMPUTING.NET POLICY FOR SECURE REMOTE ONLINE DIAGNOSIS AND/OR SERVICE OF SPECIFIED COMPUTER DEVICES required at time of scheduling an appointment for HAPPY-COMPUTING.NET SECURE REMOTE ONLINE DIAGNOSIS AND/OR SERVICE OF COMPUTER DEVICES by Legal Owner/Agent on the Happy-Computing.Net website, Legal Owner or Owner’s Agent affirmatively releases and holds harmless Happy-Computing.Net and its Service Technician from and against any loss, liability, or damage that Legal Owner or Owner’s Agent may suffer, including but not limited to the loss of any data and/or the non-functioning of any component or element of the computer device identified during the scheduling of this Secure Remote Online Service appointment, which results from any action taken by Happy-Computing.Net and its Service Technician in performing the action of authorized Diagnosis and/or Computer Services of the computer device identified on the Happy-Computing.Net Scheduling Form.

Legal Owner or Owner’s Agent further acknowledges that under no circumstances shall Happy-Computing.Net and its Service Technicians be liable to Legal Owner or Owner’s Agent or any other person for any damages, including without limitation, any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, expenses, costs, lost profits, lost savings or earnings, lost or corrupted data, or other liability arising out of, or related to, the services provided by Happy-Computing.Net and its Service Technicians, or out of the installation, deinstallation, use of, or inability to use the computer device identified during the scheduling of this Secure Remote Online Service appointment on the Happy-Computing.Net website, and any associated networks, which result from the services provided by Happy-Computing.Net and its Service Technicians to Legal Owner or Owner’s Agent or any other person or their business. Happy-Computing.Net and its Technicians will under no circumstances be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from services provided, including but not limited to costs of recovering any program or data, or any loss of business, profits, and/or revenue.



On-Site Services — Basic On-Site Service Fees:  On-Site Services are billed at $100.00 per hour (one hour minimum), $25.00 every quarter hour there after.

On-Site Hardware Repairs —  billed at $110.00 per hour (one hour minimum), and $50.00 per half hour therafter.

Additional Costs:  On-site FREE Diagnosis and/or
On-site Computer Services may also incur a "Trip
Fee" if service address is located outside of the
Service Area of Rogue River and Wimer, Oregon;
(refer to "Out of Service Area Trip Fees" here in
the "Terms of Use" for complete details).


No-Shows for On-Site Service:   On-site Services
must be cancelled no later than 24 hours before
the scheduled service appointment.  All On-Site
service appointments which are not cancelled 24
hours prior to the scheduled appointment will
incur a $150.00 non-cancellation penalty, which
must be paid up front in full before any work is
begun and/or Services are completed by happy-
computing.net.



Out of Service Area Trip Fees — Clients who request On-site services including Free Diagnosis, or those who need On-site service due to the nature of their computer issues, and all whose physical addresses are outside of the boundaries of the City of Rogue River and Wimer, Oregon will find an "Out of Service Area Trip Fee" added to their service invoice.  This fee is reqiured to be paid at beginning of any of our services conducted On-site out of our stated service area.

"Out of Service Area Trip Fees" :
$10.00: Cities of Grants Pass and Gold Hill.
     * $20.00: Cities and areas known as Central Point,
     Sam's Valley, Medford, White City, Murphy,
     and Phoenix.
          * $30.00: Cities and areas known as Talent,
          Ashland, Jacksonville, The Applegate, and
          Eagle Point.

*Depending on circumstances, a third-party delivery service may be utilized in delivering to these addresses.


Parts Sourcing and Purchase —
Happy-Computing.Net is happy to source necessary parts for computer repair and/or upgrades for our clients. We will do our best to source the highest quality manufacturer specified parts at the lowest possible price and are always available to assist our clients in every way possible in placing their order for these items.



Payment — Payment is due prior to the commencement of  Secure Remote Online Support Services.

"Trip Fees" are to be paid at time of arrival at destination address by happy-computing.net Technician and prior to commencement of diagnosis or service(s).

Payment is due at the completion of both Hardware Services and On-site Services, excluding FREE Diagnosis located within the designated Service Area.

Payment can be made in Cash, local bank-issued personal and travelers checks, plus Debit and Credit Cards via PayPal® on our Website.

Secure Remote Online Computer Services Fees —
Our Services are offered a La Cârte Flat Fee, ranging from $40 to $110 per service.  They are grouped together by the amount of time it usually takes to complete the service. Secure Remote Online Computer Services Appointment Cancellation Policy — 48 hours advance notification required for cancellation with full refund (less PayPal© processing fees). Less than 48 hours cancellation without rescheduling the appoinment, there will be no refund. Refunds, if due, will be disbursed within 10 business days of receipt of notice of cancellation by client/customer to happy-computing.net.


Shop Labor Fees — $100.00 per hour (one hour minimum), $25.00 every quarter hour there after.
